Florida Blanca. back site of military _base_ where my old aunt lives with her adopted son . his wife and two young kids.

Damiana " Nani" Rivera Gueco. age 94 .old, wrinkled and unmarried is being taken care of Obby, her adopted son and his wife. They live by the monthly regular allotment from Seattle from the Alviz and Gueco Clan.

What I saw? Aunt Nani was dragged at the corner of her thin stinky wooden bunk ( should I call it a BED? ) wearing an adult diaper and saw her eyes wonder with her dimensia. She saw me at once when I pulled her old , dirty house dress down on her belly ( her dress was raised up to her upper chest bearing her old wrinkled skin. She called my name. Mother followed me in the room where I can not bear to stay longer. The smell stinks like rotten rats where I don't expect to happen in a " HUMAN" bedroom. She was rolled to her wheel chair letting her foot drag on the concrete and I yell out. STOP! My Aunt gets hurt! They don't care.

Mother cries and kiss my aunts hand. They talk but she hardly remember our names. She easily forgets what they had just talk in a minute and they have to start again. well that is seemingly we call dimensia.

Aunt Nani was asked to talk to her sister and kins in Seattle from a video. she talks for a while but she noticed her sister did not made any response and Aunt Nani thought her sister is sleeping. Well. she thought she was talking over a phone.

We questioned those who are in charge of taking care of my Aunt. they said they are doing their best. My brain ask ... IS THAT TRUEEEEEE?

With the help coming from Seattle.. perhaps it will better to take her to a home care .. Philippines have some and they are good.

I asked Aunt Nani. why she did not get married? I was told. because of my grandfather.

She is old and sick. and no one seems to care.
