Where did everyone go? It has been a while since I have seen a new post.

i noticed that too, but the weather has been finally nice in the norteast, so i have been outside as much as possible. so i am not here as much as before.

I have been working alot of overtime and going back to school. Still waiting also for my wife to get her visa, she's been in AR since the 5th of March.

Its been really nice and warm here in Alabama too. I just been really busy with school here and in my spare time I just been on the road or something to get away from routine around school..

Yes but do not feel bad, alot of sites been slow.

I been working again for the last 3 weeks,so I had very little time for the internet, I am currently getting loaded to go to a place near New Orleans.

Summer here in the PI is unbearable but Westeners and Europeans just love it. I bet all of you guys love the beach. I don't! hehe I am scared to swim.


I guess it's kinda slow ditto with some sites.

I know how excited you are finally meeting your " gugma".

That is good that you are getting to go there. You will see, the tough part will be leaving. At least on my trips there that was the case for me. My wife will be here finally in June so she can settle things in Zamboanga and makes sure that the property we bought is all in her name (and mine) before she leaves. Also, her niece is graduating from college and she asked me to let her stay for that since she has helped her so much during this time. They are pretty close. I cant say no to that, it is not such a big favor to ask since she is the one leaving her family behind. I want her here now though, but we have waitied this long, so a few more weeks are no big deal.

The bitter part is she is leaving all these behind but the most precious part is she is going to be with the man of her life for a more secured feelings of being together always.

Well i have to agree with Mark about leaving her when it is time to come home. It does tear at the heart.

As for the heat there, it is great feeling to be warm and breath unlike it is at home. In 2006 we were having 107 degrees temps and you could not breath outside being so hot, so when I went to the Philippines, it was like stepping out in the heaven. Warm but breathable.

Leah would complain it was cold at night there in Ormoc, but it was feeling good to me.

Hi everyone. Sorry im kinda slow in replying lately. Been really busy lately preparing for the trip and taking care of other things here with school.

Im really looking forward to getting there in PH. Im sure though as Coastie and Mark said the most difficult part will be leaving. It will be all too soon but theirs always the next visit to look forward to

Hello every one. I'm still around and do check the forums. Just been pretty busy the last few months. A little update is that Raquel now has her 10 year green card, or Permanent Residence. She has also graduated with her LPN degree and was hired at the local hospital. As for me, work has been killing me. I'm also getting ready to start my own private investigation company. I just received my PI license in the mail just the other day. Now my working on all the city business license stuff. Oh joy.....

Yes. it is slower than I thought.
