Yes Fly! that has been my MAJOR concern when setting up this site. You are correct about joomla!

This forum, unlike others, is wrapped inside another server software/_script_ - joomla, which has tight security. So you have to get through joomla before you get to Fireboard hacking wise.

But when it comes to spammers, I have been told there is a antispamming _script_ extension for joomla. I yet to find it. But I have already taken measures on steps that I will follow in fighting this problem. I do not want to shut down registration. i will do all i can to avoid that, I believe that hurts a forum when you do.

I have installed a backup _script_ that backups all the data_base_ and sends it to my email everyday.

So I have a backup of all files as it exist and the data to go with it if for some unknown and unforeseen thing happen. Thanks for asking Fly, because I believe if it wasnt for that Hinigugma.com would be still with us.
